Ronald McDonald House Charities
Commitment to the Alpha Delta Pi international philanthropy, the Ronald McDonald House Charities, was made in 1979 and continues today. Since beginning its association, Alpha Delta Pi has contributed over $2 million to this worthwhile effort. Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) supports Ronald McDonald Houses in local communities, as well as funding grants to other not-for-profit organizations whose programs focus on children in need.
There are 240 Ronald McDonald Houses in 25 countries, whose function is to provide comfort, care and "a home-away-from-home" for the families of seriously ill children who are receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. In addition to donating money to this worthwhile cause, many Alpha Delta Pi collegiate chapters and alumnae associations spend their time and energy volunteering at these houses. For more information concerning Ronald McDonald House Charities, please visit the RMHC Home Page at www.rmhc.com.
ADPI Wiffle Ball
Each year Alpha Delta Pi organizes and hosts our annual ADPI Wiffle Ball Tournament to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House. At the fundraiser, other UCSB sororities and fraternities compete in our wiffle ball tournament to win prizes and help support Ronald McDonald House Charities! This year we had more participants than ever and were able to make an amazing contribution to the Ronald Mcdonald House Charities!

Involvement on Campus
In addition to hosting our annual ADPi Wiffle Ball Tournament, members of Alpha Delta Pi participate in other UCSB Greek philanthropies. These philanthropies support: Links to Literacy, Chicken Soup Fund, YouthAIDS, St. Jude's Research Hospital, Camp Fire USA, Susan G. Komen Foundation, and many more.
Members of Alpha Delta Pi are also heavily involved on campus, primarily through Relay For Life. This year, Alpha Delta Pi was a top fundraiser for Relay For Life and raised thousands of dollars for cancer research!
